In today's meeting, the Committee extended the deadlines to finish its work on two bills. Majority of the Members voted for the motion to extend the deadlines for the Tenancy Bill and Strata Titles Bill until 01 September 2021. This motion was proposed by MP for Thulusdhoo Constituency Ibrahim Naseem and endorsed by MP for Holhudhoo Constituency Yoonus Ali. Further in today's meeting, the Committee discussed and voted to amend sections 4 and 5 of the Maldives Statistics Bill.
