In this meeting the Committee decided to meet with the relevant authorities regarding the violent events instigated by migrant laborers in Maldives. Furthermore, the Committee also discussed the Bill on the Amendment to the Immigration Act. And the Committee also discussed the issue on providing parliament's approval to the "Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OPICESCR) and the "International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (CED)". The Committee decided to meet with officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
