In this meeting, the Committee decided to meet with Ministry of Home Affairs and Maldives Police Service regarding the Proposed amendment to repeal the First Amendment to the Freedom of Peaceful Assembly Act. Next, the Committee reviewed letters from Kunahandhoo Council and Landhoo Council. Afterwards, the Committee decided to meet with Foreign Affairs regarding the issue of providing parliament's approval to the Maldives ratifying the "Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OPICESCR)" and "International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (CED)". And the Committee decided to meet with Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the issue of Maldives signing the "Framework Agreement for Establishing International Solar Alliance".
