1.Committee decided to form two sub committees with 05 members each to draft Minimum Wage Bill and Job Seekers Allowance Bill upon instructions by the Speaker. Members of Minimum Wage Sub Committee will include one member from Commitee on Social Affairs (Kedhikulhudhoo constituency MP Ahmed Esa) and 05 members of committee on Economic Affairs (Mathiveri constituency MP Hassan Zareer, Dhuvaafaru constituency MP Ismail Ahmed, South Hithadhoo constituency MP Ibrahim Nazil, North Fuvahmulah MP Mohamed Rasheed and Maavashu constituency MP Mohamed Saeed). Job seekers allowance bill sub committee members are North Thinadhoo constituency MP Abdul Mughnee, Nilandhoo constituency Abdul Muhsin Hameed, Central Maafannu constituency MP Ibrahim Rasheed, Milandhoo constituency MP Ali Riza and Naifaru constituency Ahmed Shiyam. 2. Committee decided to evaluate amendment of business registration bill by whole committee sittings. 3. Committee decided not to take any action regarding the letter sent by Mr.Abdul Rahman Abdul Hakee, Maadhuni/N.Velidhoo regarding unfair treatment of MIRA towards his business and overcharged tax amount because the issue is an ongoing court case as it is appealed in High court. 4. Committee also decided to extend comment deadline of chamber of commerce bill to 30th November 2019 and also decided to extend the date to complete committee works of the bill to 26th February 2019.
