In today's meeting, the Committee's majority voted to forward to the subcommittee, the Resolution calling to prevent the long-term unlawful practices of telecom operators for its benefits by foregoing public interests, proposed by MP for Central Maafannu Ibrahim Rasheed. Motion to forward this Resolution to the subcommittee was proposed by MP for Kurendhoo Constituency Abdul Ghanee Abdul Hakeem and endorsed by MP for Holhudhoo Constituency Yoonus Ali. The Committee also discussed an issue submitted by Apollo Holdings Private Limited. Majority of the Members voted to conduct a meeting with the Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Transport & Civil Aviation to discuss this Issue. Further in today's meeting, the Committee discussed an Issue submitted by Ms. Mariyam Fizana Rasheed (M. Zeyvaru / Male') regarding the loans acquired by recipients of housing units under the "Veshifahi Male'" scheme. Majority of the Members voted to send a letter to the President's Office to obtain information in relation to this Issue.
