In today's meeting, the Sub Committee set 30 June 2021 as the deadline to finish its work on the Resolution calling to prevent the long-term unlawful practices of telecom operators for its benefits by foregoing public interests. The Sub Committee also unanimously voted for a motion proposed by MP for Kurendhoo Constituency Abdul Ghanee Abdul Hakeem and seconded by MP for Holhudhoo Constituency Yoonus Ali, to clarify from Communications Authority of Maldives, whether the required regulations have been formulated in accordance with the Maldives Telecommunication Act (law number: 43/2015), and if it has been formulated, the dates it was published.
