1. Committee discussed about the letter sent by Mr.Usman Hafeez, Musthareege/ Ha.Dhidhoo to amend tax administration act to facilitate tax payers and citizens to pay tax more conveniently. Committee decided to send a copy of the letter to MIRA and to inform Mr.Usman Hafeez. 2. After discussion about the letter sent by committee on independent institutions and the attached letter by Mr.Abdul Samad Mohamed, committee decided not to take any action since it was a copy letter which was sent to Ministry of Finance. However, committee will continue to oversee all the mandatory works stated in the Standing Order of Parliment. 3. Central maafaanu constituency MP Ibrahim Rasheed proposed the committee to evaluate decline in number of yacht arrivals in HA.Uligam as reported in some news channels since it will effect economy. Committee decided to meet all the related authorities such as Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Maldives Immigration, MNDF, Maldives Customs Service, MPL, Marine Police, Port Health, MATTI, MATATO, Yatch Association (MAYA), Yacht Operators, MMPRC, MTDC, MITDC, Ha.Uligam Council.
