In this meeting the Committee discussed a letter received from the Board of Directors of the Maldives Pension Administration Office in relation to the Bill on Amendment to Law Number 8/2009 (Maldives Pension Act). The Committee decided to conduct a meeting with officials of the Maldives Pension Administration Office, its Board of Directors, the Ministry of Finance, and Planning Department of the President's Office to further discuss the issues highlighted in their letter. In todays' meeting the committee discussed the letter sent by the Pension board highlighting their concerns regarding the Maldives Pension Act Amendment Bill. Thus, it was decided to meet with the stakeholders of the bill by consensus of the members attended to the meeting.
