In today's meeting members discussed about the letter sent by the Attorney General's Office regarding the bills to be formulated in accordance with the regulations under annex 1 and 2 of the General Regulations Act and the letters sent by the committees stating the dates that bills in committees are expected to be completed. After reviewing this information committee decided to extend the deadline for the implementation of the regulations under annex 1 and 2 of the General Regulations Act No. 6 of 2008 until 30th September 2022. Then, MP Mohamed Nihad proposed the issue expressing concern over the policies being followed in determining the height of the construction of a building in Addu City and to further investigate the issue of how permits are granted for construction in Addu city. Committee decided to discuss this matter in the next committee meeting after obtaining more information regarding the issue.
