Continued the discussion of the police protest case regarding the raid of M. Ujaalaage involving excessive force and torture during search operation. The committee specifically discussed the information shared by the Police regarding the action taken and the details of the decisions on their rank and position of the police officer who involved in the protest. Secondly, the committee discussed on the matter of the dismissal of the National Integrity commission. The committee decided to get a legal opinion from the counsel general on the Parliamentary procedure and the legality of the dismissal by the Parliament.
