In this meeting, the Committee elected a Chair and Vice Chair for the committee. MP Hassan Latheef was elected as the Chair and MP Jeehan Mahmood was elected as the Vice Chair of the Committee unanimously. Next the Committee decided the working and voting quorum of the committee. Afterwards, the Committee decided that the deadline for the committee to complete reviewing the bill would be 31st October 2020. Then the Committee discussed how the committee would proceed with reviewing the bill, and decided to extend the deadlines for institutes to send in their comments for the bill.
