Central Maafannu constituency member Ibrahim Rasheed was elected as chairperson of the committee and Naifaru constituency member Ahmed Shiyam as vice chairperson. Committee decided to gather information regarding the resolution from Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology and Maldives Monetary Authority.
