2nd Meeting of 2020
Summary
The Committee members were joined by MP Mohamed Shifau (who sits in the Clemency Board as a member from the parliament). MP Mohamed Shifau shared his experiences in the Clemency Board and the difficulties faced by the board in performing its functions.
Furthermore, the Committee reviewed the information received from the institutions regarding the issue and decided to meet with the relevant institutions in the next meeting.
