In this meeting, the Committee discussed its Report on the Associations Bill. Motion proposed by Hon. Ismail Ahmed, MP for Dhuvaafaru Constituency, seconded by Hon. Mohamed Shahid, MP for Funadhoo Constituency, to postpone passing the Report in order to grant the Members additional time to analyze it was passed by a majority of the voting Members. Further in this meeting, the Committee discussed Sections 35 to 44 of the Food Safety Bill. The Committee decided to insert a Section after Section 39 of the Bill.
