In this meeting, the Committee discussed the Issue submitted by Hon. Mohamed Shifau, MP for Ihavandhoo, regarding the unavailability of financial benefits to persons between 55 to 65 years of age, who voluntarily retire or are dismissed from employment. The Committee discussed comments received from the public, state owned enterprises, Civil Service Commission, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry, Maldives Association of Construction Industry, Maldives Pension Administration Office, and workers' associations regarding the Issue. Following these discussions, the Committee decided to further review the Issue. Also in this meeting, the Committee discussed the Issue submitted by Hon. Mohamed Shifau, MP for Ihavandhoo, requesting to obtain the details of resources established in the foster care centers managed by the Ministry of Gender, Family & Socials Services.
