In today’s meeting, the Committee determined 20 September 2022 as the deadline to finish its work on the Employment Act Amendment Bill, proposed by the Government sponsored by Hon. Jamsheed Mohamed, MP for South Kulhudhuffushi. The Committee deliberated on the Bill, and the members participating in the vote unanimously voted to pass the Bill as amended, and to send the Committee Report on the Bill to the Majlis Floor.
