In today’s meeting, Committee discussed the Issue submitted by Hon. Mohamed Shahid, MP for Funadhoo Constituency, requesting to identify and rectify the issues in the national health insurance system and the social security system. The Committee decided to conduct a meeting with officials of the President’s Office to discuss their policies to enhance the national health insurance system and the social security system. The Committee also decided to send to the President’s Office, a brief of the issues in the national health insurance system and the social security system, identified by the Committee in its meetings with the National Social Protection Agency, Aasandha Company Limited, and the regional hospitals in the Maldives. Further in this meeting, the Committee discussed Issues received to the Committee from the public.
