The agenda of today's meeting was to discuss the issues raised to the committee. The committee has decided to meet the technical and maintenance officials of the Parliament at the subcommittee meeting tomorrow (October 26, 2022) in view of the issue sent by the Ministry of Defence after conducting a security assessment of the Parliament house. Subsequently, in a petition sent on September 22, 2021, seeking review of the committee's decision on providing vip lounge services to the MPs, the committee concluded that the earlier decision taken by the General Committee in this regard was best and there was no need to change the decision further. As a last issue, it was decided to summon the head of the media section at the subcommittee meeting tomorrow (October 26, 2022) to clarify further on the work of the policy to be formulated in this regard in the case filed by 'Mihaaru' newspaper seeking live feed of parliament sessions.
