During the meeting, the committee members discussed the petition filed by the flat owners regarding the water issues and other major issues of the 100 housing units constructed in Lh. Naifaru. Based on the information received by the committee, the committee reviewed its decision to go to Lh. Naifaru and decided not to go on this trip. Instead, the decision was taken after none of the members objected to holding an online meeting with the committee and Lh. Naifaru Island Council regarding the petition in the next meeting of the committee. Meanwhile, Hoarafushi MP Ahmed Saleem proposed to request the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure to share a schedule of the works being carried out to resolve the problems raised in the Petition. This proposal was supported by North Thinadhoo MP Abdul Mughnee. Thereby the proposal was passed as none of the members objected to the proposal.
