The committee decided to extend the deadline to 1st November 2022. Also, amended Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Bill’s 2nd Clause name to “Maldives National Authority on Chemical Weapons Convention." and then, passed the bill on Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Bill with committee amendments.
