In today’s meeting the committee reviewed the information received from Housing Development Corporation regarding the issue submitted by Kanduvai Exports against the company. Then, the committee reviewed the issues in internal audit reports of Waste Management Corporation and decided to review the implementation of the internal audit reports passed by the audit committee of the company through Auditor General’s Office and decided to review the reasons and hurdles in submitting the internal audit reports to audit committee of the company for the reviewing purpose by company’s Internal Audit Department via Privatization and Corporatization Board Lastly, the committee decided to acquire information from Bank of Maldives, Maldives Monetary Authority, Maldives Police Service and Communication Authority of Maldives regarding the account breach and major other issues faced by Bank of Maldives customers, submitted by Economic Affairs Committee.
