In today’s meeting the committee discussed resolution submitted by North Henveiyru Constituency Member Ibrahim Muizzu calling for an early solution to the issue regarding the expenditure by the state to rent out private properties for administration government offices and institutions and for storage purposes. The committee decided to obtain information from Ministry of Finance regarding the expenses and any action taken to solve this issue. The Committee also discussed an issue submitted by Elections Commissions and Committee on Independent Institution regarding renewal of health insurance of the members of Elections Commissions. Furthermore, the committee also looked into an issue submitted by Human Rights Commission of the Maldives regarding the renewal of health insurance of their members. The committee decided to continue the discussions of this issue after obtaining further information from the insurance companies.
