Appointment of Committee chairperson and deputy chairperson Dhiggaru constituency MP Ikraam Hassan was elected as committee chairperson by consensus of the committee members present at the meeting. North Henveyru constituency MP Ibrahim Muizz was elected as deputy chairperson by consensus of the committee members present at the meeting. And Committee decided to write to foreign embassies in the Maldives stating that they wanted to travel to explore the functioning of such committees in the parliaments of other countries. And then decided to meet the Minister of homeland security and technology in next meeting to discuss the current work and the vision of government.
