In this meeting, an issue regarding a name written under the Jumhooree party's nameboard installed in the office allotted to the Party from Majlis building was discussed. Manadhoo constituency member Ahmed Haroon proposed to file the issue, after replying to Speaker stating that the committee was unable to attain the video footage of the mentioned dates from Ministry of Defence as they have replied to the committee that the footage was no longer available with them. It was seconded by Central Hithadhoo Constituency Member Ahmed and passed by the majority. The committee discussed the issue of the votes of a meeting of Committee on Member’s Privileges and Ethics held that was held in closed doors, was leaked to the social media. Gan Constituency Member Mohamed Visam proposed to file the issue, as this issue was raised over two years ago, It was seconded by South Maafannu Constituency Member Adam Ali and passed. The committee then discussed the issue received from South Henveriru Constituency Member Hussain Shaheem regarding former Speaker, President Mohamed Nasheed and as proposed by Gan Constituency Member Mohamed Visam and seconded by Manadhoo constituency member Ahmed Haroon, the committee decided to conduct a meeting with member Hussain Shaheem to further discuss the issue. Furthermore, the committee decided to attain the documents related to the issue submitted by then Faresmaathodaa Constituency member Hussain Mohamed Latheed regarding the refusal of Attorney General to attend the Parliamentary Sitting and further discuss the issue on another meeting.
