In this meeting, appointment of committee chair was carried out as per section 132 of the Standing Order of People's Majlis. MP Hassan Latheef of West Henveyru Constituency was appointed as the chair of the committee unanimously. The name was proposed by MP Abdulla Shaheem Abdulhakeem of Kanditheem Constituency and was supported by MP Ibrahim Naseer of Mulaku Constituency. Moreover, committee also unanimously decided to keep MP Ibrahim Shareef of Kelaa Constituency as the Deputy Chair of the committee.
