This meeting today discussed the deadline for the Land Amendment Bill and the manner in which the bill will be implemented. The committee unanimously set March 10, 2024 as the deadline for the bill. The motion was moved by Holhudhoo MP Younus Ali and seconded by Ungoofaaru MP Mohammed Waheed. The committee also approved the announcement of the bill for public comment. The committee also approved to send a letter to the relevant agencies to seek their views on the bill.
