The meeting was to determine the quorum of the committee. The quorum of the committee was decided to have three members. Then the committee's work was discussed. The committee is newly formed and will seek the assistance of experts in the field such as public announcements. It was decided to send letters to collect information on companies and associations operating in the field of information and communication technology from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information, and Arts. Representatives of the Telecommunications Authority, Ocean Connect Maldives, and Trade Net Maldives will be present at the meeting scheduled for Tuesday. Representatives of Dhiraagu, Ooredoo, ROL, the Communications Authority of the Maldives, and Ocean Connect Maldives will be invited to an introductory meeting on February 21.
