The meeting deliberated on how to move forward to encourage the implementation of parliament's electronic signature, Google Pay, India UPI, Ali Pay in the country. Meanwhile, MP Ahmed Haitham supported the proposal of Fonadhoo MP Moosa Siraj to clarify from the relevant authorities the reasons for not making such payments in the Maldives. Therefore, the committee decided to write to MMA, BML, MIB, NCIT, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Development.
