The Committee decided to set the deadline to finish the Resolution in relation to issues in the maritime industry. It unanimously voted to pass the proposal by MP for Gemanafushi constituency Ahmed Saeed, endorsed by MP for Thulusdhoo constituency Ibrahim Naseem, to set 23 June 2020 as the deadline. Also, the Committee discussed the Bill to Amend Land Transport Act (law number: 5/2009). As such, it voted to pass all the amendments throughout the Bill from section 38; sections 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 which were previously kept for further review, were also passed.
