- with regard to the sexual abuse case of 4 girls in G.Dh Atoll, the Committee decided to write to Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services and inquire into the latest update on the case and to check the status of the girls involved in this case. - with regard to the domestic violence case, committee decided to write to Ministry of Gender, Family and Social services; Maldives Police Service; HRCM and Family Protection Authority to inquire the details of the actions taken on this issue. - with regard to the sexual abuse case of the 7 year old girl and the sexual harassment and abuse of L. ban'didhoo school students, the committee decided to bring these two cases to the attention of the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services. - The committee also decided that the committee chair has the authority to send the preliminary letters to the relevant institutions on sexual abuse cases.
