- with regard to the issue on the sexual abuse case of the former disability ambassador, the committee decided to send letters to the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services, HRCM and Maldives Police Service to acquire more information on the case. - with regard to the issue of a mother sexually abusing her son, the committee decided to send letters to Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services, Island Council and Maldives Police Service to inquire if the mother have children apart from the victim, and if she does, to check if those children are living in a safe environment.
