Committee discussed about extending the time period of implementation of the regulations under annex 1 and 2 of the Act No. 6/2008 (General Regulations Act) and decided to extend the implementation period until 31 December 2020. Also the committee decided to ask Attorney General's Office to finalize all the bills to be drafted regarding Act No. 6/2008 in the time period stated in their letter number 32-LRD/57/2020/10. Then the committee discussed the issue of the regulations not being formed in the time period stated in the Act No. 14/2019 (Maldives Fisheries Act) and concluded to sent a report to majlis floor regarding this issue.
