The Committee discussed regarding ongoing preparation for re-opening of Airports for new normal with the management of Maldives Airport Company Ltd. The company assured that the standard operating procedure for new normal would be aligned with the rules and regulations of Health Protection Agency and Ministry of Tourism. A transit isolation facility has been arranged as mentioned in the Health Protection Agency guideline. The company confirmed that no employees salary was deducted regarding the global pandemic covid 19, while other operating expenditures and capital expenditures was reduced to much extent.
