Committee discussed about the construction regulation for islands and lagoons with no planning regulation and members raised their concerns about the fines imposed under the regulation, and passed to review this regulation thoroughly before making any decisions about the regulation. Then, the committee decided to obtain information from the Ministry of Fisheries, marine resources and agriculture about the total regulations to be formulated under the Act No. 14/2019 ( Maldives Fisheries Act), and regulations yet to be formulated. Committee decided that the report on this issue would be concluded after obtaining this information.
