Following discussions, the Committee voted to pass sections 32 to 36(a) of the Education Bill with amendments. Motion proposed by MP for Dhiggaru Constituency Ikram Hassan to set the deadline for work of the Maldives Statistics Bill until 30 November 2020 was endorsed by MP for Holhudhoo Constituency Yoonus Ali, and passed with unanimous votes of the Members in attendance. The Committee also decided to open this Bill for public comments for a period of one week starting today.
