Committee discussed about the bill on amendment to the Act No. 7/2010 (Decentralization Act) and passed 14 November 2019 as the deadline to finish the work of this bill. The committee decided to open the bill for public comments and to request the public to submit any comments or suggestions regarding the bills before 10 November 2019. The committee also decided to meet Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Ministry of Home Affairs, Attorney General's Office, Maldives Police Service, Local Government Authority, Dhiraagu, Ooredhoo, Transparency Maldives, Hope for women and Election Commission to discuss about the bill. It was also decided to get comments from Anti-corruption Commission, Auditor General's Office and Environment Protection Agency regarding the bill.
