Meeting with Male' City Council members to discuss about the letter sent by MP Ibrahim Shareef regarding the closure of "Male' dhathuruveringe market". The Councillors informed the committee that there has been a huge disagreement between the Councillors regarding the numbers of stalls to be constructed and the procedures to issue these stalls. And the members of Market committee also informed that even though a decision to construct 117 stalls has been passed by the majority of Councillors, the mayor haven't implemented the decision. To conclude, the committee members requested Male' City council members to finish the pending works of "Male' dhathuruveringe Market" as soon as possible and to inform the opening date of the market to the committee.
