In today's meeting, an Issue presented to the Committee regarding the wrongful allocation of housing units under "Hiyaa" project to former government officials and relatives of parliamentarians was discussed. This Issue was submitted to the Committee by MP for Hoarafushi Constituency Ahmed Saleem and endorsed by MP for Holhudhoo Constituency Yoonus Ali. Following discussions, the Committee decided to write to the "Committee Investigating Public Housing Schemes" for clarifications, and to conduct a meeting with the aforementioned Committee, "Public Housing Committee" of the former government and former Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizz, upon receipt of further details.
