Committee discussed about extending the deadline for implementation of the regulations under annex 1 and 2 of the Act No. 6/2008 (General Regulations Act) and decided to obtain information regarding the status of bills relating to be proposed to parliament from the Attorney General's Office. Then the committee discussed about reviewing construction regulation for islands and lagoons with no planning regulation and decided to take this issue from committee agenda as the concerns regarding this regulation has been amended by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. The committee also discussed the issue of Hulhumale planning regulation. Even though the regulation has been amended by the committee on 27 November 2018, the amended regulation has not been published in the government gazette yet. Therefore the committee decided to obtain information from Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure regarding this issue.
