Letter sent by MP Hussain Firushan, to clarify why the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture has not taken any decision regarding agreement between the Ministry and Horizon Fisheries Company Private Limited for the construction of a fish factory in Hondedhoo as approximately 17 years had passed since the land leased out for the construction of a cold storage facility which haven’t taken place and lack of any services to the fishermen as per the agreement, and also to determine if there are any corruption involved in it, and reasons behind implementation of the agreement by the ministry when it has been terminated.
