Regarding the settlement arranged for victims of the SeaLife Global housing project in Hulhumalé

Summary

The committee decided to share the information received from Housing Development Corporation Limited with the submitting member, regarding the issue submitted stating that the government failed to provide equitable opportunities to purchase government housing units under the settlement agreement formulated between the government and the victims of the case where SeaLife Global Private Limited failed to construct housing units as per the agreement signed between Housing Development Corporation and SeaLife Global Private Limited to construct 3,000 (three thousand) housing units in Hulhumale’.
