In this meeting, the Committee met with the Executive Council of the Maldives Bar Council. And the Committee decided to send a letter to the Speaker requesting the inclusion of Maldives Bar Council in the Committee's mandate so that the Committee could oversee the functioning of the Council. Furthermore, the Committee unanimously decided to extend the deadline to conclude the Committee's work on the Bill on the Amendment to the Judicial Service Act to 5th August 2019.
