In this meeting the Committee reviewed the Bill on the Amendment to the Prosecutor's General Act. Next, the Committee decided that the deadline to conclude reviewing the Report by Retired Justice Johann Kriegler as 28th October 2019. And, MP Moosa Siraj of Fonadhoo Constituency proposed to submit the issue of removing Prosecutor General Aishath Bisham from office to the parliament. This proposal was seconded by MP Saud Hussain of Villingili Constituency. This proposal was passed by the majority votes of the Committee members.
