In this meeting, MP Jeehan Mahmood of Hinnavaru Constituency rescinded her vote given in the previous meeting regarding the removal of Prosecutor General Aishath Bisham from office. She explained that the decision made in the previous meeting was made in contradiction to the procedures set in the parliament for such issues. She proposed that the decision of the Committee to be rescinded as well. This proposal was seconded by MP Ibrahim Muiz of North Henveyru Constituency. This proposal was passed with the majority votes of the Committee members. Next, the Committee continued its work on reviewing the Bill on the Amendment to the Prosecutor General's Act.
