Meeting with director of public health and related officials of HPA regarding the difficulties and losses faced by small and medium enterpises, cafés, restaurants and others in the industry due to guidelines of HPA to control Covid-19 virus in the country. In this meeting director of public health highlighted guidelines are necessary to control the spread of Covid-19 and general health of public even though business were adversely affected due to covid-19 and guidelines. HEOC and related officials do hold discussions with restaurant associations and other related parties regarding the guidelines. National health emergency is important as the director of public can only issue guidelines only when the emergency declared is in effect. Strict measures are implemented based on the virus spread rate in the country and it is believed restaurants, cafés are high risk in spreading the virus as it will be difficult to keep the distance required and to wear mask all the time. Levy will be given based on the spread rate and risk level in the country. Many guidelines were provided regarding business continuity policies.
