Committee started its works on the bill proposed to amend the Act number 11/2015 (Maldives Islamic University Act) and the bill proposed to amend the Act number 3/2011 (Maldives National University Act). In this meeting, the members of the committee decided to meet with the following stakeholders regarding the bills proposed: 1. Former chancellors of the universities in the Maldives; 2. Islamic University of the Maldives; 3. National University of the Maldives; 4. Ministry of Education; 5. Ministry of Higher Education; 6. Institute of Holy Quran.
