Summary

Discussion regarding letters received. 1. Committee discussed regarding the letter sent by Mohamed Zaheen/ Saame Villa about not disconnecting water and electricity until people's income stabilizes after the lockdown and decided to gather information from Fenaka Corporation limited, MWSC and Stelco. 2. Regarding the letter sent former Assitant manager (Ibrahim Ahmed) of Fenaka Corporation Thinadhoo branch committee decided to ask him to appeal to Employment Tribunal regarding this issue. 3. Then committee discussed about the letter sent by Island Aviation regarding the refund policy of the company and as there are no concerns about this policy and that this policy has been published in the company's website, committee decided not to intervene in this issue. 4. Regarding the letter sent by Auditor General's office about the audit of STO's expenses during the covid-19 pandemic, committee decided to discuss this issue further after the said audit. 5. Committee member Ibrahim Naseem proposed to discuss work delays in upgrading electricity in islands with Stelco and committee decided to include this issue in committee agenda.
