In this meeting the Committee discussed the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic 1968 and Vienna Convention on Road Signs and Signals 1968". Since, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation had previously informed the committee of their wish to include two reservations in these conventions, the Committee decided to request Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation and Attorney General's Office to send any reservation they had regarding these conventions. The Committee also discussed a letter sent by a Philippines citizen currently serving a jail sentence in Maafushi Jail, and decided to send a letter to Maldives Correctional Service for further information regarding the issue.
