In today's meeting, the letter received from Local Government Authority regarding the vice of atoll council receiving same salary as of the president of island council was discussed and as submitted by parliament member Abdul Gafoor Moosa and supported by the parliament member Ibrahim Shareef, the committee decided to add an allowance of 1000rf to the vice of atoll council. An issue submitted by the parliament member Abdulla Jabir regarding insurance policies sold by the insurance companies of the Maldives was discussed and decided to further discuss the issue after obtaining more information from Maldives Monetary Authority and Allied Insurance regarding the issue. Bill submitted by the Parliament member Yaugoob Abdulla to amend the Public Accounts Law (3/2006) was decided to process the bill in the joint committee with committee on decentralization.
