In today's meeting committee discussed several issues sent to the committee. Firstly, committee decided to go for a second thinking on the issue sent for a recommendation on a way to mark the attendance of Parliament Members when visiting their districts. Secondly, committee discussed on way to proceed with the issue sent to commend on no confidence motion of Minister of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture Zaha Waheed, as one of the signee, MP Abdulla Jabir of Kaashidhoo Constituency withdrawn from the matter. After a lively debate, committee decided to look into the ways how other countries proceeded on similar matters before finalizing the issue. Lastly, MP Mohamed Shaahid of Funadhoo Constituency proposed on an arrangement of informing the debated timings of Parliament Sessions when members are at their work stations, tea room and attending committee meetings.
